US Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee Cammi Granato & BelaHockey visit Arvada Girls Hockey

On Saturday, October 11, 2008 Arvada Girls Hockey hosted 2008 US Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Cammi Granato and her all girls line of hockey gear and apparel, BelaHockey. 

The morning started out with a launch of the BelaHockey line and an autograph signing session at the Players Bench in Westminster.  The Arvada Girls then welcomed Cammi, along with Justine, Anna and Elise from BelaHockey, all the way in from Maine, to their home ice at APEX for a potluck lunch.  The potluck lunch featured all kinds of good dishes and sides cooked up by the Arvada Girls Parents; there was even a fabulous cake made by Rhonda Leonard in the shape of the BelaHockey logo.  Lunch was followed by a Girls Only 19 and Under Skate where approximately 85 girls attended from around the state.  The various associations represented included Colorado Select, NCYH Jr. Eagles, Hyland Hills, DU Jr. Pioneers, Boulder Valley, and Colorado Springs.  All the girls attending were able to spend time on the ice skating with Cammi and having their pictures taken. 

The Arvada Girls would like to congratulate Cammi on her 2008 US Hockey Hall of Fame induction and thank her and BelaHockey for coming out to spend the day with us!
